This Privacy Policy describes how Talon Towing and Transport (“Talon,” “we,” “us”), a Guardian Fleet Services company with terminals in North Port and Sarasota, Florida, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit talontowing.guardianfleetservice.com (the “Site”) or contact us for service.
Information we collect
- Information you provide — when you call dispatch, send an inquiry through the Site, or complete one of our forms (vehicle release authorization, premises entry release, credit card authorization, employment application), we collect what you give us: typically your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle and where it is, and the details of the service you need. Card details you provide on a credit card authorization are used only to process the payment you authorize; card numbers are not entered on or stored by this Site.
- Automatic information — like most websites, our hosting infrastructure logs IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. The Site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure how it is used, HubSpot for the inquiry form, and Birdeye to display customer reviews; these tools may set cookies. Where a cookie notice is shown, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies there.
- Maps — the terminal maps on the Site are embedded from Google Maps, which may collect information under Google’s own privacy policy when a map loads.
How we use it
- To answer calls and inquiries and to dispatch, perform, and bill for towing, recovery, transport, roadside, and service center work.
- To release vehicles and personal property to the people authorized to receive them, and to process the payments you authorize.
- To consider employment applications.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To send service communications, and — only where you have opted in — marketing communications, which you can leave at any time.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business — hosting, analytics, forms and customer records, payment processing, and map embeds — each only to the extent needed to perform their function; our parent company, Guardian Fleet Services, for operating and supporting the business; and where required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale.
Retention & security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above and as required for legal, accounting, or contractual obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by calling (941) 870-9000 or writing to either terminal at the addresses below. We will respond consistent with applicable law. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some Site features may not function without them.
Children
The Site and our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
